HI and Amazon Web Services Launches Self-Reliance Incubator Center Program in Pasirranji Village

Bekasi Regency – To support community economic empowerment, Human Initiative in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched the Independent Incubator Center Program. This event took place on Sunday (18/09) at the Pasirranji Village office, Central Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. Around 60 participants attended the event, most of whom were residents of Pasirranji Village.

The event was attended by a number of local stakeholders, namely Wardi Sunandar, the Head of Pasirranji Village and also representatives from the Consultative Body (BPD), Bimaspol and Babinsa.

The launch was marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony by the village head. Then the event continued to a workshop on “Business Potential and Opportunities in the Creative Industry” by Nur Ain Istikharah, owner of muslimgaleri.co.id.

Residents of Pasirranji Village register to take part in a series of programs

This series of activities ended by dividing groups according to the specialization of training in several business fields. Among them are sewing, culinary and make-up.

Irma, one of the participants who is also the head of the cooperative in Pasirranji Village, expressed her gratitude to Human Initiative and AWS. According to Irma, this program can revive village cooperative activities. She explained that the cooperative produces various kinds of traditional foods such as pempek, gabin cake and so on, but the marketing is constrained so that it is no longer operational.

This program will run in 3 stages covering a series of training to increase the competence of participants for 6 months, product/service selection and business development.
