Cibitung, July 5, 2025 — A total of 20 participants successfully completed and passed the forklift operator certification exam. This achievement marks the final phase of the Skill Development Program organized by Human Initiative in collaboration with AWS. The forklift certification program is a tangible step in enhancing the technical skills of the community, particularly in the industrial operations sector in the Cibitung area.
The certification exam was the final stage after several weeks of intensive training. Participants received a combination of theoretical lessons and hands-on practice, and were guided to meet the official competency standards required to obtain a Forklift Operator License (SIO).
All participants passed both the theory and practical exams, which were conducted and supervised directly by representatives from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker RI), ensuring the validity of the certification.
Hidayah Utama Lubis, a representative from AWS, emphasized the importance of certification as preparation for facing the challenges of the workforce. “Certifications like this are highly relevant in addressing the current job market needs. With official recognition of their competencies, the participants will have higher competitiveness and wider job opportunities,” she said.
This forklift training program is part of an ongoing commitment between Human Initiative and AWS to empower communities by enhancing work skills that are practical and aligned with industry needs.
Kayat Hidayat, one of the training participants, expressed his gratitude: “I would like to sincerely thank AWS, Human Initiative, and PT Khazhen for the training opportunity provided. I hope that in the future, more people will benefit from training programs like this.”
Human Initiative continues to open collaboration spaces with various parties to expand access to training and certification, such as this forklift certification, for underprivileged communities. This is part of a long-term strategy to create a resilient and independent society.
