Human Initiative and XM Indonesia Spread Joy for the Elderly Through the “Year-End Gift” Program

Jakarta, December 2024 – Embracing the spirit of sharing happiness at the end of the year, Human Initiative, in collaboration with XM Indonesia, launched the “Year-End Gift for the Elderly” program. This initiative reflects their commitment to caring for senior citizens residing at the Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 3 care home in South Jakarta.

The program aims to bring joy and fulfill the basic needs of the elderly by distributing various forms of assistance. These include packages of basic necessities, nutritious meals, goodie bags containing snacks, and monetary donations.

“Through this program, Human Initiative and XM Indonesia want to ensure that the elderly feel valued and cared for, especially during the warm and festive year-end season,” said Subari, Project Chair of Human Initiative.

The “Year-End Gift for the Elderly” program targets 20 senior residents of the care home, selected based on specific program eligibility criteria. The event was held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM local time (WIB).

The activities took place at Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 3, South Jakarta, which has long served as a home for these elderly individuals. The assistance provided is expected not only to meet their physical needs but also to offer comfort and emotional happiness to the program beneficiaries.

Through this initiative, Human Initiative and XM Indonesia invite the public to continue showing care for the elderly community. Programs like this not only create joyful moments for the elderly but also foster awareness that their well-being is a shared responsibility.

With strong collaboration, this program aims to inspire various parties to remain actively involved in acts of kindness, particularly for the elderly, who are often among the most vulnerable and marginalized groups.
