Human Initiative Collaborates with Ardhito Pramono to Distribute Aid to Flood Survivors

Bekasi, March 11, 2025 – Human Initiative (HI) partnered with musician Ardhito Pramono to distribute food aid packages to flood-affected residents in Kampung Poncol, RT 02/RW 01, Jakasetia, South Bekasi. A total of 150 survivors received aid to help meet their basic food needs in the aftermath of the disaster.
The floods that hit the area caused many residents to lose access to food, clean water, and other essential needs. In such conditions, solidarity from various parties is crucial to help them rebuild. The aid packages distributed as part of this humanitarian action included basic food supplies (sembako) and ready-to-eat meals. The survivors were able to consume these meals directly for iftar during the Ramadan. This initiative aims to lighten the burden of affected residents, particularly during this holy month of Ramadan.
Ardhito and His Involvement in the Collaboration with HI
Ardhito Pramono shared the story of how he became involved in this collaboration.
“I was live streaming on TikTok at the time, and usually, we provide traffic reports and weather forecasts during the show. Then, from the reports we received, we found out about the flood in the Jabodetabek area. From there, we were more than willing to go to the location and distribute aid to the flood victims,” Ardhito explained.
“I believe that when we have the intention to help, the path will open. Sure enough, not long after, Human Initiative contacted us,” he added.
Aid Distribution Process
The distribution of aid was carried out by directly visiting the residents’ homes. This method allowed the Human Initiative team to ensure that the aid reached those who truly needed it, while also assessing the current situation on the ground. During the visit, the team also interacted with the residents to understand the challenges they faced and to adjust future aid to be more effective and targeted.
Hadi Junaedi, the head of RT 02/01 Jakasetia, expressed his appreciation for the aid.
“Thank you to Human Initiative, Mas Ardhito Pramono, and the donors who have cared for our residents who were affected by the flood. This aid means a lot to us during this difficult time. We hope this kindness brings blessings to everyone involved, and may they always be granted abundance and health. Amen.”
In addition to direct assistance in the form of food, Human Initiative also invited the wider community to participate in this act of kindness. The more people who contribute, the more residents can be helped, and they won’t feel alone in facing this hardship. In emergency situations like this, unity and the spirit of mutual support are the key to recovery after a disaster.
