Human Initiative Launches “Light Up Hope” Campaign with a Focus on Expanding Community Access

Depok, October 22, 2024 – Human Initiative (HI) has launched the “Light Up Hope” campaign, a movement aimed at providing better access for communities, focusing on improving sustainable quality of life. This year, the campaign emphasizes providing adequate infrastructure in response to urgent needs in underserved areas, particularly in disaster-prone regions and areas with limited access.

In light of the growing challenges in accessibility and infrastructure, especially in disaster-affected and remote regions, Human Initiative responds with the “Light Up Hope” campaign. This initiative goes beyond emergency relief, aiming to ensure long-term resilience through infrastructure development that empowers communities to thrive.

“The Light Up Hope campaign exists because we see many communities struggling to access basic services like clean water, decent housing, bridges, places of worship, and educational facilities,” said Tomy Hendrajati, President of Human Initiative. “Infrastructure limitations are a major barrier to recovery. We are committed to continuing our efforts to improve access through sustainable infrastructure programs.”

Collective Efforts to Improve Access Through Infrastructure Programs

Human Initiative strives to create sustainable solutions for those in need. Infrastructure programs developed in collaboration with various partners—ranging from the construction of bridges and schools to clean water facilities—have directly impacted thousands of families across Indonesia. This campaign aims not only to address immediate needs but also to establish a long-term vision of building a strong foundation for Indonesia’s future.

Reaching 55 Priority Areas for Change

The “Light Up Hope” campaign targets 55 priority locations across remote and underserved regions in Indonesia. These areas were selected based on the urgency of infrastructure needs, where many communities lack adequate access to education, healthcare, and public facilities. Human Initiative invites the public to contribute to the success of this campaign and help reach these priority areas.

“By reaching these 55 priority areas, we are not just building infrastructure; we are delivering new hope to communities living with limitations,” said Arief Rachman, leader of the “Light Up Hope” campaign. “We believe every contribution will bring tangible change to their lives.”

Through “Light Up Hope,” Human Initiative invites individuals, corporations, and global partners to join in the effort to improve infrastructure in the most critical areas. Every donation becomes part of a sustainable solution, bringing renewed hope to those in need.
