Paradaya Movement & Human Initiative Train Women Micro-Entrepreneurs Through the “Ibu Tangguh” Program

Jakarta, June 26, 2025 – Amid the bustle of the kitchen and family economic pressures, these women remain resilient and do not give up. They rise, holding on to hope through small businesses from home. They are the “Ibu Tangguh” (Resilient Mothers), and from their hands, the pulse of family economics continues to thrive.

Driven by this spirit, Paradaya Movement collaborated with Human Initiative (HI) to hold the “Ibu Tangguh” Business Coaching program. This is a tangible step to strengthen the economic capacity of women as the main pillars of their families.

The online session on Thursday, June 26, with Coach Anita marked the beginning for nine women micro-entrepreneurs from various businesses to learn financial recording and how to manage a healthier business.

“When a mother starts recording the cash flow from her small business, she is building the foundation for her family’s future,” said Desi Mitra Dewi, Project Manager of Ibu Tangguh.

From Ibu Deffi with her business “Deffilicious,” who dreams of increasing her sales to IDR 6 million per month, to Ibu Wulan with “Mie Ayam Okeh” who is struggling to raise her sales from IDR 230 thousand to IDR 3 million.

“I used to doubt it, but now I’m sure that a small business can grow as long as we keep learning and trying,” said Ibu Wulan with hope.

Through this collaboration, Human Initiative and Paradaya Movement reaffirm their commitment that women empowerment is not just a slogan, but real action. This program makes housewives the backbone of social and economic change.
