SD Islam Tugasku Continues Efforts to Help: Sending Aid to Palestine

Jakarta, February 19, 2025 – Human Initiative, in collaboration with SD Islam Tugasku, once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian efforts by sending aid to the residents of Palestine in Northern Gaza. The Peduli Palestina program this time involved providing essential food packages for 291 people.

This support was directed towards refugees in Northern Gaza, with the hope that it will ease their burdens in the midst of difficult conditions. Volunteers visited the refugee camps directly to ensure that the aid distribution was accurate and impactful.

Since 2008, SD Islam Tugasku, located in East Jakarta, has been an active partner of Human Initiative in various humanitarian actions. The school is deeply committed to helping those in need, offering prayers and assistance to disaster victims both domestically and internationally.

SD Islam Tugasku also strives to instill the values of kindness in its students. The students learn about the importance of sharing and praying for their fellow brothers and sisters who are facing hardships.

“We want to instill empathy in children from an early age so they grow up to be individuals who care for others. This aid is one of the ways we show our concern for our brothers and sisters in Palestine,” said Rita Novita.
