Sharing Meat with Perawang Residents to Help Meet Animal Protein Needs

Care can grow through simple actions that bring benefit to others. For this reason, Human Initiative, together with Dear Initiators, distributed meat to communities around Musholla As Somad, Perawang Urban Village, Tualang Subdistrict, Siak Regency, Riau. The activity took place on Thursday, 11 June 2026.

Through the Meat Sharing Program, Human Initiative connects the trust of donors with communities in need. In this way, the program brings benefits to more residents. In addition, the program also helps meet the community’s need for animal protein.

This program was made possible through the support of various Dear Initiators, including RM Raso Situjuah, IKA Faculty of Medicine Universitas Riau, SDIT Insan Cendekia Bangkinang, PAUD Ibu Teladan, TK Insan Utama 1, TK Qurratul ‘Aini, MI Ihya Ulumuddin, and TK Al Izzah Duri.

Head of Human Initiative Sumbagteng Regional Office, Hendra Nafsosianto, explained that the Meat Sharing Program creates a space for individuals, communities, and institutions to channel their care.

“The Qurban Meat Sharing Program serves as a platform for kindness that makes it easier for communities and organizations to spread benefit. Through this program, the spirit of sharing can reach more of our brothers and sisters in areas where the implementation of qurban worship remains limited,” he said.

Hendra also noted that the program opens wider opportunities for various groups to participate.

“With a more affordable and flexible donation scheme, this program opens broader opportunities for people from different backgrounds to take part in qurban giving. Every contribution entrusted to us will be collected and distributed appropriately to communities in need,” he added.

Human Initiative then distributed the meat to residents around Musholla As Somad. The community warmly welcomed the activity and expressed their gratitude to the donors who had entrusted their contributions through Human Initiative.
