Supporting Food Security, Human Initiative in cooperation with Telkomsigma Build Green House & Fish Pond in Bogor Regency

Bogor Regency – Saturday (19/3), Human Initiative and Telkomsigma held a second nutrition garden harvest activity for aquaponic vegetables and a symbol of fish harvesting. In addition, there was also the handover of the Green House and fish pond to the beneficiary residents. The activity took place at Baitul Ilmi PAUD, Cipambuan Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency.

This activity aims to have an impact on the economic life of the family. One way is to optimize the existing resources in an area. This project is called the “Nutrition Garden Program for Food Security for Communities Affected by Covid-19”.

Human Initiative and Telkomsigma Support for Food Security program

Melinda Teja A as Head of Corcomm Telkomsigma gave a speech on this occasion.

“Our appreciation goes to stakeholders, namely the community and beneficiaries who are willing to contribute. Also to the relevant agencies who have supported ongoing projects, we hope that this can provide benefits to the entire community,” she said.

Langga Pratama as Specialist Partnership Human Initiative also gave his expression on one occasion.

“Thank you to Telkomsigma as the main donor in the food security project here. Then to the practitioners who help provide direction and assist the community so that all parties and we from the Human Initiative can continue to assist this Project. Hopefully, the residents here can continue to be consistent in continuing this food security,” he continued.

The Spirit of Citizens in Participating in the Program

Visya Mudyana, as the head of the Zodia Women Farmers Group, a local community of women who focus on food security training, also expressed her gratitude.

“Thank you for the guidance, from the beginning we planted and didn’t know anything, until now. In the future, we hope that our greenhouse will be more developed and more productive so that it can provide wider benefits,” she said.

Mrs. Retno Puspitasari, A.Md as the Agricultural Service Extension Officer also said:

“This is very useful knowledge, knowledge like this is very expensive, but we all get this opportunity for free. So for my women friends, let’s cheer up! And let’s move on!.”

This activity ended with the symbolic handover of the Greenhouse and fish pond by Human Initiative and Telkomsigma to the residents of Cipambuan Village RT 03 RW 03, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency.
