Together with Dear Initiators, Bag of Happiness Reaches 26,960 Rights Holders Across 192 Locations

Dear Initiators, amid various social and economic challenges, many families continue striving to maintain their resilience. Parents work hard to ensure that daily meals remain available, while children keep their enthusiasm for learning despite limited circumstances. For this reason, well directed and sustained support becomes an essential need.

Through the Bag of Happiness program, Human Initiative mobilizes a collective effort for good with communities and donors who entrust their contributions to the program. As of 1 March 2026, Bag of Happiness has reached 26,960 rights holders across 192 locations in Indonesia and Palestine. This achievement reflects a measurable expansion of support while maintaining the quality of program implementation in each area.

Step by step, the team distributed 11,110 ready to eat meal packages and 4,534 staple food packages to help families maintain their daily food needs. In addition, the program distributed 590 new clothing packages, 15 school supply packages, 15 worship supply packages, and 160 kindness gifts. Through this approach, each contribution responds directly to needs identified in the field.

On one hand, food assistance strengthens family resilience. On the other hand, school supplies and worship items help sustain children’s learning spirit and support spiritual well being. In this way, the program addresses not only physical needs but also the social and emotional well being of the rights holders.
