Depok, 12 August 2025 – Human Initiative held Welcome Home, a stakeholder visit to HOME (Home Children Center), to introduce the program’s concept and approach to the public and strategic partners.
The event took place at the Home Children Center in Depok and was attended by a diverse range of cross-sector stakeholders, including the Assistant Deputy for Coordination of Policy Implementation on Child Rights Fulfillment for Region I at the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemen PPPA) of the Republic of Indonesia, Ms. Devy Nia Pradhika; Head of DP3AP2KB Depok City, Ms. Nessi Andira; Chief of Kumparan MOM, Ms. Dhini Hidayati; representatives from Finex, Ms. Marita; representatives from BSI Maslahat, Ms. Sukma; as well as representatives from NI, Ms. Indah.
The HOME program is designed as a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly space that supports optimal growth and development amid social challenges and the digital era. Through Welcome Home, Human Initiative seeks to raise awareness among stakeholders and the public about the importance of community-based child learning and protection centers.
“We want to show that HOME is not just a facility, but an approach that gives children the opportunity to play, learn, and grow in a safe environment,” said Andjar Radite, Vice President of Human Initiative.
During the discussion and knowledge-sharing session, Ms. Dhini Hidayati from Kumparan MOM highlighted the challenges of digital education for parents and children. Meanwhile, Ms. Devy Nia Pradhika from Kemen PPPA RI explained that the government already has policies and standards in place for fulfilling children’s rights, but the main challenge lies in outreach and education.
“We truly appreciate the HOME initiative by Human Initiative, which provides a safe space for children amid today’s situations and challenges,” added Ms. Devy.
Human Initiative calls on all parties—government, businesses, media, and communities—to join in supporting children’s campaigns and strengthening the HOME program. Every small step and every act of care will be a crucial part of creating a safe, healthy, and hopeful future for Indonesia’s children.
