Commemorating World Humanitarian Day, Human Initiative Held Cross-Continent Charity Concert

Depok: World Humanitarian Day which is celebrated on August 19, is a form of appreciation to all humanitarian activists in the world. In 2020, World Humanitarian Day coincides with the Covid-19 pandemic, in which humanitarian workers are at the forefront with health workers to help fight Covid-19.

On this occasion, the Human Initiative participated in commemorating the World Humanitarian Day. As a token of appreciation for humanitarian activists, the Human Initiative held a cross-continent charity concert by collaborating with several artists from around the world.

Those who will join the cross-continent charity concert are Dwiki Dharmawan (Indonesia), Ivan Nestorman (Indonesia), Putri Ayu (Indonesia), Boris Savoldelli (Italy), Steve Hunter (Australia), Sisonke Xonti (South Africa), Kearoma Rantao (Botswana), Beledo (USA / Uruguay), Raef (USA). The event was also hosted by MC from Indonesia, namely Boy Mareta and Terry Putri.

This Transcontinental Charity Concert is a series of Humanitarian Week which has been going on since August 19 (19/08). Then it ended with this transcontinental charity concert on Tuesday 25 August (25/08) to conclude Humanitarian Week.

Charity concerts across continents are shown online on Facebook and the Human Initiative Youtube. It is hoped that this transcontinental charity concert will spread the spirit of humanity to humanitarian activists across borders.
