Yemen’s Humanitarian Crisis Is Not Over, Millions Still Need Assistance

Yemen’s humanitarian crisis is not yet over. Millions of people still need assistance after years of conflict, economic difficulties, damaged services, and limited access to basic needs. Many families continue to face food insecurity, health risks, and limited access to clean water and sanitation.

Children, women, older people, and vulnerable groups face some of the greatest risks in prolonged crises. When food, healthcare, and income opportunities are limited, families must make difficult choices to survive each day. The situation requires sustained humanitarian attention and collaboration.

Humanitarian assistance helps communities meet essential needs, including food, health services, clean water, hygiene support, and protection. However, continued support and safe access are needed so assistance can reach families who need it most.

Human Initiative invites the public to continue caring for communities affected by humanitarian crises, including in Yemen. Every contribution can become meaningful support for families trying to survive and rebuild life amid difficult conditions.
