10 Years of Waiting, Now Al-Fattah Mosque in Krayan Village is Happy to Taste Qurban Meat

Paser, East Kalimantan – During this year’s Eid al-Adha, Human Initiative distributed sacrificial animals to remote parts of Indonesia. One of the distribution areas for this year’s Qurban animal is in Al-Fattah Mosque, Krayan Bahagia Village, Long Ikis District, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. On Monday (11/07) yesterday, East Kalimantan Human Initiative directly assisted the process of slaughtering and distributing Qurban meat in the area.
Uus Suriansyah, Head of the East Kalimantan Human Initiative Program, told the story of the Qurban process in Krayan Bahagia Village.
“Alhamdulillah, the process of slaughtering the sacrificial animal went well. We get information from the residents. They are very grateful because there has been no sacrificial animal slaughter in Al-Fattah Mosque for 10 years,” said Uus during a live interview.
Villagers’ Gratitude For This Year’s Qurban
“The total of all beneficiaries in Krayan Village are 80 families or around 250 beneficiaries. Thank you to the qurbani who put their trust in Human Initiative as an institution that distributes qurbani. God willing, it is very useful and very right on target,” he concluded in a live report on Instagram.
Krayan Bahagia Village is a village where the majority of population is oil palm farmers. It takes 3-4 hours to get to this village from the city of Balikpapan. Pak Mamad, one of the residents in Krayan Village, thanked the qurbani.
“Alhamdulillah, these residents are working together to chop beef and goat meat. We are very grateful for today’s Qurban. Most of us here are oil palm farmers, but the price of palm oil is not good. Thank you for the sacrifice, God willing, this will be very useful for the people here,” said Pak Mamad.
