Did you know, Dear Initiators? There are Angels who Record Your Deeds during Friday Prayer

Dear Initiators, one of the obligations of Muslims, especially men, is to perform Friday prayers. On that day, angels who record deeds stand guard in every mosque when Muslims perform Friday prayers. The majority of Ulama agree that it is obligatory to carry out Friday prayers, based on the word of Allah ﷻ in surah Al Jumuah verse 9:

“O you who believe! When the call to prayer is proclaimed on Friday, hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business: That is best for you if you but knew.” (QS: Al Jumuah: 9).

But did you know that when it’s time for Friday prayers, several angels stand guard at every door of the mosque to record the deeds of the servants of Allah ﷻ? They record the people who attended the Friday Prayers in succession.

This is explained in a Hadith from Abu Hurairah RA, who mentioned that Rasulullah ﷺ said,

“When Friday comes, angels sit at the doors of the mosque to record who attended Friday prayers. When the Imam has come out (speaking), then the angels close the pages (book of good deeds),” (An-Nasa’i no. 1368)

Umar Sulaiman Abdullah Al-Asyqar in ‘Alam al-Mala’ikah al-Abrar & Alam al-Jinn wa asy-Syayathin explains that the angels also record the good words that every human being says.
