Despite its picturesque landscape, the residents of Rohua Hamlet live simple lives. Most of the community members are farmers and fishermen. Volunteers from the Human Initiative who visited this hamlet discovered that the average income of the people in Rohua Hamlet ranges from Rp. 1.5 million to Rp. 2 million per month.

Given these figures, it’s understandable that the purchasing power of the people in Rohua Hamlet is limited. Consequently, this area in Central Maluku falls under the category of regions with low meat consumption rates.
