4 Virtues of Bringing Joy to Orphans

In Islam, bringing joy to orphans is a noble act that brings many blessings. Here are 4 virtues of bringing joy to orphans:
Seizing the Opportunity to Become a Companion of the Prophet Muhammad in Paradise:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“I and the caretaker of an orphan will be like this in Paradise”, then he gestured with his index and middle fingers, slightly separating them. (Narrated by Imam Al-Bukhari).
That those who care for orphans will enter paradise with him. Being close to orphans brings us closer to Prophet Muhammad.
Guarantee of Entering Paradise for the Guardian of Orphans:
Taking care of and providing for orphans by giving them food and drink will ensure our entry into paradise.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“The one who takes care of an orphan, whether it is his own or someone else’s, will be like this with me in paradise.” (Narrated by Muslim)
Obtaining Help from Allah SWT:
Allah helps those who care for and bring joy to orphans. By treating them well, we receive mercy and assistance from Him.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in the following Hadith:
“… Allah will help a servant as long as the servant helps his brother.” (Narrated by Muslim and Ashhabus Sunan from Abu Hurairah).
Avoiding Punishment in the Hereafter:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) affirmed that those who treat orphans well will be spared from punishment on the Day of Judgment.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in the following Hadith:
“By He in whose hand is my soul, Allah will not punish the one who shows compassion to orphans, speaks gently to them, and feels mercy for them, whether they are orphans or poor.” (Narrated by Thabrani from Abu Hurairah).
