Bringing Happiness to Orphans and Those in Needs, Human Initiative, in Collaboration with SIT Al Biruni Mandiri, Gifts School Supplies

Makassar, South Sulawesi – Human Initiative, in collaboration with the generosity of SIT Al Biruni Mandiri, has provided 30 school supply packages to orphans and the needy (10/24). The recipients of these gifts are under the care of Human Initiative’s South Sulawesi branch, attending the HOME learning center.

The distribution of gifts to orphans and the needy was initiated by SIT Al Biruni Mandiri, located in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi. As a humanitarian collaboration partner, Human Initiative selected children under their care who are enrolled in the Hug, Opportunity, Mentality, and Education (HOME) program.

“We are giving these gifts to orphans and the needy. Additionally, we prioritize children who are diligent and enthusiastic about coming to learn at HOME in South Sulawesi,” stated Swardi, Head of the South Sulawesi Branch of Human Initiative.

The parents and guardians of the children under the care of HOME in South Sulawesi were also present to witness the gift-giving ceremony. During the gift presentation, the parents and guardians expressed their gratitude to Human Initiative and SIT Al Biruni Mandiri. Thanks to this assistance, their children’s school supplies have been provided.

Ratifah, one of the children who received the gifts, was overjoyed and enthusiastic as she received her package of school supplies from SIT Al Biruni Mandiri. As soon as the gifts were in her hands, she eagerly opened them one by one with a joyful expression.

“I’m very happy. There are new coloring books for me. This gift has so much inside,” Ratifah exclaimed to the Human Initiative volunteers.

Human Initiative, through its core Initiative for Children program, is committed to realizing children’s rights, including the right to an education. Therefore, the smiles on the faces of the children under HOME’s care are Human Initiative’s goal in providing the HOME learning center program. The hope is that more and more children will receive their rights and grow into outstanding individuals in the future.
