Collaboration of Bike to Work with Human Initiative for Humanitarian Aid to Palestine

Depok – The Bike to Work (B2W) community presented humanitarian donations to Human Initiative on Monday (8/12) at the Human Initiative office in Depok. The donation handover is a manifestation of B2W’s concern for the Palestinian community affected by the humanitarian crisis since October 7th.

The donation was handed over by the General Chairperson of B2W, Fahmi Saimima, to the President of Human Initiative, Tomy Hendrajati. Fahmi expressed that this donation is the result of fundraising efforts conducted by B2W in several previous events.

“We are deeply concerned about the condition of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Therefore, we want to provide assistance to alleviate their burden,” said Fahmi.

The donated amount from B2W is Rp113,295,925. Human Initiative will collaborate with local partners in Egypt to distribute this aid. The assistance will be used to fulfill the basic needs of the Palestinian community, such as food, clean water, and medicines.

“We hope this donation can be beneficial for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. May they pass through this ordeal well and be able to lead peaceful lives in the future,” Fahmi added.

Tomy Hendrajati expressed gratitude to B2W for the entrusted humanitarian donation. He stated that this donation will be distributed accurately and will be beneficial to our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

“Through this collaboration, we hope to alleviate the burden on the Palestinian community and provide new hope for them,” said Tomy.

The donation handover was attended by several B2W members and representatives from Human Initiative. The event concluded with a joint prayer for the aid given to be beneficial for our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
