Getting to know Arnold, a local farmer from Kupang who supports the 2023 Qurban Distribution Program

Human Initiative – Affectionately known as Uncle Arnold, this Kupang resident is a local breeder and a partner of Human Initiative in this year’s qurban program. For several years now, Human Initiative has been collaborating with Uncle Arnold to provide qurban animals to donors in eastern Indonesia.
“I am delighted to work with Human Initiative and help our brothers perform their qurban worship,” he expressed to Ade, a Human Initiative volunteer who visited his farm.
Uncle Arnold’s farm, located in East Baumata, Taebenu, Kupang, NTT, is home to 50 goats and 5 cows that are ready to be designated as this year’s qurban animals. In particular, he has also prepared this livestock for the Human Initiative’s 2023 Qurban Distribution program in Kupang City.
The collaboration between Human Initiative and local breeders is an empowerment effort aimed at expanding the benefits of Human Initiative’s qurban program not only for the beneficiaries but also for the local breeders.
