Human Aid Initiative UK, in collaboration with Buah Hati Islamic School, is supporting the recovery of earthquake survivors in Morocco

Jakarta – Human Aid Initiative UK (HAI UK), through a humanitarian collaboration, has received a mandate from the parents of students at Buah Hati Islamic School to aid in the recovery efforts for the Morocco earthquake. Directly, representatives of Human Initiative in Indonesia received humanitarian assistance at the Buah Hati Islamic School Central Secretariat office in Condet, East Jakarta (9/10).
Pardhan Prasetyo, the Director of Buah Hati Islamic School, revealed that this mandate is for the survivors of the Morocco earthquake. The humanitarian donations were collected through the collaboration of parents of students. This act of kindness is a manifestation of Buah Hati Islamic School’s commitment to emulate the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
“In a hadith narrated by Abu Dawud, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, ‘Seek my pleasure by being good to the weak, for you are provided for and helped due to the weak among you,'” Pardhan expressed to Human Initiative.
Pardhan Prasetyo, on behalf of the parents of Buah Hati Islamic School students, handed over the humanitarian aid to Boy Mareta, who serves as the GM of Partnership & Program at Human Initiative in Indonesia. This humanitarian fund was collected through official school broadcast messages to parents and a parenting seminar at the beginning of the new academic year in 2023.
“We are delivering the aid entrusted by the parents of our students to HAI UK through Human Initiative in Indonesia. Human Initiative in Indonesia has been a long-time partner in our humanitarian collaboration efforts. We hope that this assistance can alleviate the situation for our brothers and sisters in Morocco,” he stated.
Human Initiative, in response to the earthquake disaster in Morocco, has collaborated with Human Aid Initiative UK (HAI UK). In this regard, Human Initiative is passing on the mandate from the Initiator Friends to HAI UK. According to the regulations of the Moroccan government, the UK is one of the countries authorized to deliver humanitarian aid.
