Human Initiative Receives an Award from Balikpapan City Government on National Education Day 2023

Balikpapan – On May 2, 2023, in commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas), Human Initiative was honored with an award from the City Government (Pemkot) of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The award recognized Human Initiative’s collaboration and active participation in the education sector within the Balikpapan area.

During the ceremony held in the courtyard of the Balikpapan Mayor’s office, the Mayor of Balikpapan, Rahmad Mas’ud, personally presented awards to 10 entities, including institutions, corporations, and humanitarian organizations. This event was part of the series of activities organized by the City Government of Balikpapan to commemorate National Education Day 2023.

During the award presentation, the Mayor of Balikpapan expressed his gratitude for the Human Initiative’s active role in supporting education. He personally thanked and commended the organization for their efforts. The collaboration partners of the Human Initiative who attended the event also expressed their joy and satisfaction for being part of these impactful endeavors.

Yeni Kartika Dewi, the Head of the East Kalimantan Human Initiative Branch, highlighted the collective effort involved in the organization’s educational humanitarian work. She emphasized that the Human Initiative’s initiatives in the education field were made possible through the involvement of various stakeholders, including individual donors, strategic partners, and volunteers.

“This award is a testament to the collective effort of all those involved. We hope it serves as an inspiration to continue our commitment to goodness,” Yeni Kartika Dewi remarked.

Human Initiative has implemented several educational programs in Balikpapan, including Foster Children Scholarships and Inspiring Teacher Training. Through these initiatives, the organization aims to spread positive impact and support education throughout Indonesia.
