Non-Cash Assistance for Micro, Small,Medium  Enterprises   (MSME) Capital in Sampang

Not a few people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic that has hit Indonesia for 2 years. For the lower class people, on average they are MSME actors in Sampang, East Java. In doing their business it feels like almost always rules out profits. It is  very confusing to continue to be able to rotate the income.

Seeing the needs of the grassroots who want to survive in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, which continues to emerge with new types, plus the onslaught of recession news in various parts of the world, as well as the recent extreme weather conditions, has made Human Initiative as an Indonesian NGO continue to carry out its work to move with the community. In collaboration with CRS and Australian Aid, the implementation of the Recover Together program began with the implementation of Vaccinations, assessment of beneficiaries of MSMEs affected by Covid who had not been touched by government assistance, conducting training for MSMEs, and providing cash assistance for capital.

The Human Initiative with CRS and Australian Aid does not work individually, but collaborate with local stakeholders. Wednesday, 16/11, Located at the Sampang post office, Human Initiative together with CRS and Australian Aid helped MSME actors affected by Covid-19 in Pasuruan through cash assistance support for capital. The distribution of this assistance is in collaboration with the Sampang post office in the form of money orders that can be obtained directly at the post office.

“We are trying to get this capital assistance right on target. Because in the process an assessment has been carried out by a surveyor and verified directly by the project donor team.” Said Aulia Rahma as the project manager for Recover Together.
