Nusantara Clean Village Program, Caring for the Cleanliness of the Community Environment Around the Toll Road

Makassar – On Wednesday (30/11), Human Initiative in collaboration with PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk inaugurated the Nusantara Clean Village Program at Pannampu Village, Tallo District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi. Through Nusantara Care, this collaboration also invites business units in the toll road sector such as PT Makassar Metro Network (MMN) and PT Toll Road Section Four (JTSE). The two business units are the managers and operators of the Makassar Toll Road.

The Nusantara Clean Village Program is a program to answer environmental hygiene problems around Makassar Toll Road. Especially the Pannampu Village which often becomes the location for illegal city dumps. It is also hoped that the program can support the development of the potential of the community around the toll road. For example, by making handicrafts from used but feasible materials. This is to support the community’s economy while empowering their potential.

President Director of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, Ramdani Basri immediately inaugurated the Clean Archipelago Program. Head of Makassar City Environment Service (DLH), Aryati Puspasari Abadi and President of Human Initiative, Tomy Hendrajati also attended the inauguration. Various community leaders were also attending this event.

“The Nusantara Clean Village Program is a program development that has previously been underway. This is a form of our concern for the environment in the community around the toll area. This is also in line with the three pillars of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, namely health, environment and society,” said Ramdani Basri, while delivering his speech at the inauguration.
