Oxygen Tubes & PPE for Health Workers and Funeral Officers

Depok, September 14, 2021 – Human Initiative and Centratama Group collaborated to provide Oxygen tubes and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for health workers and funeral workers. This assistance was carried out as a form of concern for others which coincided with the commemoration of the eight (8) anniversary of Centratama Group. A total of 54 oxygen tubes and 300 PPE packages were given to funeral workers at the Tegal Alur Public Cemetery which is the grave yard for Covid and the Cempaka Putih Hospital and RSUI.

The assistance by the Centratama Group lasted for three (3) days, namely on September 29 and 30, 2021, and October 14, 2021. The distribution of donations was symbolically carried out on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at RSUI by handing over oxygen tubes and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) directly by representatives of the Centratama Group to Human Initiative and continued to RSUI.

The activity began with a prayer together, then continued with a speech from each representative. The speech was started by Human Initiative Representative, then continued with remarks from the CEO of Centratama Group, and then ended by a representative from the UI Hospital who closed with a thank you to the donors and parties who helped carry out the delivery of this Oxygen tube and PPE donation.

Arza Putra, Sp.BTKV(K). as the leader of the UI Depok Hospital, he appreciates and is grateful for this assistance. “Alhamdulillah, we should be grateful even though the pandemic has not ended, with us facing the second wave yesterday, we were able to get through it. This assistance is certainly very important for us and the community, so we accept this assistance with great gratitude and hopefully we will all get out of this pandemic soon,” said dr. Arza.

Yan Raymond, CEO of Centratama Group, said that this collaboration was carried out as a form of concern and support in dealing with the pandemic as well as commemorating the 8th anniversary of Centratama Group. “We are of one heart to care and provide support for the community in facing challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic and take the initiative to hold a CSR program that aims to help communities affected by Covid 19. Through this activity, we hope that we can support the work process of Health Workers and Funeral Officers in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.” Yan Raymond said.

Meanwhile, VP Operation Human Initiative, Andjar Radite, thanked the Centratama Group for trusting Human Initiative in this collaboration and hoped that this assistance would be useful and that the collaboration m would not stop here. “Human Initiative as a humanitarian institution continues to collaborate with many parties to help respond humanitarian challenges, especially during this pandemic. We really appreciate the support or concern that is collaborated with Human Initiative by the Centratama Group, it is very useful for the community to mitigate future problems. Hopefully this assistance can provide great benefits to the community.” Andjar said.

The event which took place under strict health protocols was closed with the symbolic handover of Oxygen tubes and PPE from the Centratama Group and Human Initiative to the UI Depok Hospital.
