The escalating conflict between Palestine and Israel began with tensions between the two countries in July 2023. Indonesia’s Response to the Palestine-Israel Conflict

Indonesia is one of the many countries responding to the conflict between Palestine and Israel. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemlu RI) has voiced its concerns and urged an immediate halt to violence on humanitarian grounds.

“Indonesia is deeply concerned about the escalating conflict between Palestine and Israel. Indonesia calls for an immediate cessation of violent actions to prevent further loss of human lives,” stated Kemlu RI through its social media account X (10/8).

Furthermore, Kemlu RI emphasized that the root cause of the conflict between Palestine and Israel must be resolved promptly. The conflict concerning the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel should be resolved in accordance with the parameters set by the United Nations (UN).

“The root cause of this conflict, which is the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel, must be resolved according to the parameters agreed upon by the UN,” it stressed.
