Situation Report Flood Pameungpeuk, Garut

Garut Regency – Friday (23/9), high-intensity rain hitting Pameungpeuk area, Garut, has caused floods at a number of places. A total of six villages were affected by flooding due to the overflow of the Cipelabuh and Cikaso rivers. The peak of the heavy rain occurred in the early hours of the morning in the upper reaches of the river, namely in the Cisompet and Cihurip sub-districts. At least 6 villages are currently affected by the floods.

Human Initiative team along with BPBD were assisted by local volunteers to assist residents in the evacuation process as well as cleaning houses and roads from mud and other materials.
