Swalayan Maju Bersama and Human Initiative Collaborate to Distribute Educational Achievement Packages

Medan, North Sumatra – Swalayan Maju Bersama collaborated with the North Sumatra branch of Human Initiative to distribute 150 school supply packages to high-achieving children in Medan City (July 14). This act of kindness is aimed at elementary school students in grades 1, 2, and 3. The implementation of the Educational Achievement Package Sharing Program is a result of the spare change donations from Swalayan Maju Bersama customers.

The Educational Achievement Package Sharing Program by Human Initiative is one of the initiatives targeting children. Swalayan Maju Bersama, carrying the goodness of spare change donations from its customers, entrusts the distribution through the Educational Achievement Package Sharing Program.

“The school supply packages distributed today are the result of spare change donations from Swalayan Maju Bersama customers, channeled through Human Initiative,” explained Ombin Sihombing, Store Manager of Swalayan Maju Bersama Letda Sujono branch.

The event at Swalayan Maju Bersama located on Jalan Letda Sujono no. 138A brought elementary school children directly into the scene. The children who came with their parents were visibly enthusiastic about receiving the school supply packages.

“May these school supply packages further enhance the children’s motivation to excel. Amen,” said Joko Supranoto, Head of the Program Division at Human Initiative North Sumatra.
