The Virtues of Providing Aid to Orphans

Those who are fond of aiding orphans will attain a noble status in the sight of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Allah SWT.

In a Hadith narrated by Bukhari, it is mentioned that the position of those who fondly care for orphans in paradise is as close as the distance between the index finger and the middle finger.

“I and the caretaker of an orphan will be like this in Paradise”, then the Prophet (peace be upon him) gestured with his index and middle fingers, separating them slightly. – Bukhari –

Based on this Hadith, providing aid can soften the heart. When we share with orphans, touch their faces, and provide food from our sustenance, our hearts will become softer, and our needs will be fulfilled.

The Purpose of Aiding Orphans
