Annisa and Arga’s Daily Life, Learning while Helping Their Mother

17 January 2022

The best of humans are those who provide the most benefit to others, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic which has claimed many lives and paralyzed various industrial sectors. Many family heads pass away, leaving their children and wives and forcing them to not a few continue their living without them. Therefore, they badly need assistance program. Some of these include food assistance, educational support by fulfilling educational facilities or through foster parent programs, etc.

Like Annisa who is now in Junior High School grade 1 and her brother, Arga (Senior High School grade 1) who is the Beneficiary of the Foster Parents scholarship program since early 2021. They are both orphans who are still in school, and only live with their mother who is a laundromat for their neighbors.

Since their father died, the mother became the backbone of the family. Their parents used to sell retail gasoline in front of their house. When her father died, Annisa’s mother had once continued the business, but it turned out to be a failure and they got more losses than income, as their neighbors owe a lot of gas and don’t pay for it.

It is a real help for Annisa’s and Arga’s mother since her children received Foster Parents (OTA) scholarship. Last year Annisa’s mother fell ill and had to do 3 surgeries due to swelling in his heart. Until today, her mother must not be too tired. Annisa and Arga also take turns cleaning their house. Thank God, they received renovation assistance from the Government.

Annisa hopes that she can get the Foster Parents (OTA) scholarship until she graduates from high school, because apart from her mother, Annisa has no one else to rely on. Initiator Friends, you can help children like Annisa and Arga, too. You can do this by visiting Solusi Peduli and giving your best donation.
