Collaborative Human Initiative Distributes BUKBER Package for West Pasaman Earthquake Survivors

Pasaman Barat – Continuing Bulan Kita Berbagi Program (BUKBER) from Human Initiative, last Wednesday (13/4), Bukittinggi Human Initiative and volunteers visited West Pasaman Earthquake Survivors Temporary Camp in Kejari Village, West Pasaman, West Sumatra. There, Human initiative Team distributed Ramadan packages consisting of basic necessities for daily needs. This activity is the result of a collaboration between Human Initiative Indonesia and Human Aid Initiative.

The BUKBER gift sharing activity in West Pasaman was divided into 2 activities. The first activity was the central delivery of gifts at the West Pasaman Earthquake Survivors Camp. While the other distribution took place at the homes of the survivors in their respective homes. In total there were 100 Ramadan Gift Packages distributed in this activity.

“Thank you Human Initiative for providing assistance and attention to all of us. God willing, this gift package will be useful for everyday life,” said Lina*, one of the beneficiaries of the BUKBER gift package.

As we know, the earthquake that rocked West Pasaman a few weeks ago still leaves pain among the local residents. For this reason, it is hoped that the distribution of these basic food packages can help ease their burden. Especially to meet daily needs.
