Human Initiative – In the “Spread the Qurban” 2023 program, Human Initiative chose Artafela Village in East Seram, Maluku, as one of the beneficiary areas for Qurban. This will be the first time for residents of Artafela Village to benefit from Qurban through Human Initiative.

Artafela Village is a village on the coast of East Seram Island, Maluku. The people in the village, located in Kiandarat District, East Seram Regency, on average work as fishermen and farmers.

What makes Artafela Village worthy of the 2023 Sacrifice Distribution benefits? Human Initiative, through the Maluku branch, has determined Artafela Village as a beneficiary area. The factors are areas that are included in the 3T (left behind, outermost, frontier), and the economic conditions of the people who are classified as underprivileged.

“There is also regarding the income of the community, we found that the total monthly income of the community is less than one million rupiahs per month. In our opinion, as representatives of Human Initiative in Maluku, the people of Artafela Village will be very happy to receive the benefits of Qurban,” said Muhammad Jabal, Head of the Maluku Human Initiative Branch.
