Kamila and Her Noble Ideals

Kamila and Her Noble Ideals

15 October 2021

Humans are social beings. They need to help each other, including setting an example and a good influence. We can find this exemplary figure everywhere, including Kamila, a seven-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a Koran teacher.

Kamila is a child who loves math. She was excited to open a gift from Initiator Friend when the Central Java Human Initiative team visited her school.

Kamila’s father is a goat seller in the market. He buys goats and then raises them at home and then resell them. There are two goats that Kamila’s father currently raises. While Kamila’s mother is a bamboo basket craftswoman. She sells her crafts to collectors.

Some families in this area do get additional income from selling woven bamboo baskets. When men work outside the house, in the midst of their busy lives, housewives weave bamboo baskets to sell. Furthermore, the collectors will bring the bamboo basket by a truck.

Of course, the income from selling goats and weaving bamboo is not always sufficient for all school needs. The initiator’s friend’s assistance in the form of school supplies certainly will help ease the burden on her parents and will help Kamila realize her little dream.

Let’s be a good influence on each other. Let’s visit Solusi Peduli and provide support for Kamila’s dream to become a Koran teacher.
