Providing 2000 Drink Packages in the Water Kitchen, Support of Human Initiative for Preparedness Meeting

Facing the upcoming rainy season, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held a Preparedness Meeting for the rainy season which took place at the DKI Jakarta National Monument on Wednesday (13/10/2021). 111 agencies attended the activity, starting from government agencies, students, community organizations, to the mass media.

The participants lined up neatly behind the nameplate of their respective institutions. Of course, by maintaining distance as a form of implementing strict health protocols.

As a form of support, Human Initiative was also present by sending 17 personnel who were divided into several teams to attend the activity. In addition, the Human Initiative’s support for the event can also be seen through the presence of a car that functions as a Water Kitchen that has existed since the rehearsal (12/10/2021). The water kitchen distributed 500 items of food and drink during the rehearsal and 2000 items of drinks and food during the meeting. Human Initiative provides logistical supplies in the form of food and beverages, which include bottled water, dry and wet cakes, jelly milk, coffee and syrup. The logistics are available to all apple participants attending the meeting.

In addition to a car for water tanks, Human Initiative also brought an ambulance and a complete rescue car. All rescue equipment is available from rubber boats, life jackets, oars, helmets, and boat engines. The equipment was then directly inspected by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Mr. Anies Baswedan after the meeting was completed.

From the Disaster Program Management (DPM), the Human Initiative itself has made preparations in the form of equipping equipment and recruiting volunteers. The Human Initiative also calculates the number of Personal Protective Equipment available as well as adding several tools, such as rubber boats and boat engines. This action has long been a form of preparation for the Human Initiative in facing the rainy season.
