BUKBER in Bogor, Human Initiative Collaboration with Syarjah Charity International

Bogor Regency – At the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, Sunday (3/4),  Human Initiative provided packages for breaking the fast and Ramadan gifts at the Asnawiyah Mosque, Kursiya Gunung Putri Islamic Boarding School. This activity is part of the main program of Human Initiative in the month of Ramadan, namely Bulan Kita Berbagi (BUKBER). This program is also a collaboration between Human Initiative and Syarjah Charity International.

Human Initiative representative, Ardy, said the number of Ifthar packages distributed were 100 packages and 50 packages for sharing Ramadan gifts. Meanwhile, the beneficiaries are orphaned students, employees and teachers at Islamic boarding schools.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful to get this basic food package. Thank you HI (Red: Human Initiative) and Syarjah for the help. God willing, it will be useful for breaking the fast and for sahur later,” said Siti*, one of the beneficiaries of the BUKBER program.

The Ramadan gift packages contained basic necessities, namely rice, cooking oil, sugar, wheat flour, pastries, tea bags, syrup, margarine, sweet soy sauce, and sweetened condensed milk.

In addition to sharing Ramadan gift packages, Human Initiative Team also accompanied the students in breaking their fast as well as distributing Ifthar Sharing Packages in pesantren (Islamic Borading School).

“Alhamdulillah, thank you Sis for the Ifthar package, may God bless you,” said Mita*, one of the students of the Kursiya Islamic Boarding School.

After distributing the gifts and Ifthar, the event was closed with a prayer by the pesantren and Yatim Duafa students for the donors and those who have been willing to share in this month of Ramadan.
