Week of Qurban Distribution: Human Initiative Realizing the Worthful Qurban Program

2 July 2023

Depok, West Java – Eid al-Adha has arrived, and the tasyrik days of Eid al-Adha serve as a crucial moment for Human Initiative to fulfill its mission of ‘Worthful Qurban’ through the ‘Qurban Distribution Week’. Human Initiative aims to realize ‘Worthful Qurban’ in various locations, in line with the 2023 target of qurban distribution, spanning 21 Provinces with 171 Regencies in Indonesia, as well as eight other countries.

The Spread the Qurban program is one of Human Initiative’s endeavors to extend the benefits of Qurban to remote areas of Indonesia and other parts of the world. Throughout the Qurban Distribution Week, Human Initiative collaborates with representatives from various branches to conduct animal slaughter and distribute the benefits of Qurban.

Tomy Hendrajati, the President of Human Initiative, expressed gratitude and appreciation to all those who have entrusted the Qurban mandate to the organization, emphasizing the importance of reaching out to our brothers and sisters in remote areas of the country and around the world. These sentiments were conveyed during Tomy’s live broadcast of ‘Gema Takbiran & Tausiyah Idul adha 1444 H‘ on the Human Initiative Channel’s YouTube platform on June 28th.

In his speech, Tomy Hendrajati outlined three key objectives for implementing the Worthful Qurban. Firstly, it is to adhere to the principles of Qurban according to shari’a, which is fundamental in Qurban worship. Secondly, it aims to be Worthful Qurban, as sacrificing is a form of worship to Allah subhanahu wa ta’alaa while also providing benefits to others. Lastly, it emphasizes the importance of Quick Reporting, highlighting the Human Initiative’s commitment to transparency and trustworthiness.

Eid al-Adha, which coincides with national holidays, collective leave, and school holidays, provides an opportunity to share happiness. Not only does it bring joy to families at home, but it also brings happiness to relatives who may not have the chance to taste the delicious meat on Eid al-Adha.

Starting from Thursday (June 29th), Human Initiative, through the Qurban mandate, will commence the distribution of qurbani animals. In addition to Indonesia, qurban animals will be distributed to eight other countries, including Somalia, Uganda, Palestine, Myanmar, Turkey, Kenya, Tanzania, and Bosnia.

Furthermore, Human Initiative will continue to accept qurban offerings until the last tasyrik day, which falls on Sunday, July 2, 2023. This is an opportune moment to further strengthen the benevolent movement and uplift those in need.

“InshaAllah (God willing), Human Initiative will continue to serve the sacrifices of individuals until Tasyrik Day. This endeavor aims to maximize worship and make the most of the blessings we have received, allowing us to share them with others,” concluded Tomy.
