Help Renovate School Buildings in Remote Areas

The impact of the Seroja flood last April has quite an impression on one of the Islamic boarding schools, namely the Al-Baro’ah Islamic Boarding School, Dwanur Village, West Adonara District, East Flores Regency, NTT. Almost all the students there are needy families, and orphans. It consists of 3 levels in the Islamic Boarding School, namely RA/TK with 50 students, MTS/SMP and MI/SMA (a total of 120 students MTS and MI).

Interestingly, with basic learning and dormitory facilities, students pay Rp. 85,000 per month for all required activities, consisting of Rp. 50,000 for consumption costs, Rp. 20,000 for operations and Rp. 15,000 for committees.

Since yesterday’s seroja cyclone the children have been getting worse. The location of the pesantren, which is prone to flooding, must suffer a lot of losses due to the destruction of their school buildings and dormitories. In addition, their various equipment was also affected by the ferocity of the seroja flood.

Seeing the sad condition of the existing buildings, now this Islamic boarding school requires a lot of money to help renovate class rooms, construction of new class rooms, renovation of dormitories, support for school facilities, stationery, consumption costs and renovation of mosques.

Initiator friends, let’s help our fellow students at Al-Baro’ah Islamic Boarding School so that they can immediately get a study location, comfortable bed, and learning support in the form of proper school building facilities and stationery. You can convey the support through the Solusi Peduli website.

We are waiting for the participation of all Initiator Friends 😊
